Monolith cast plate for the Smart Grid System (SGS)

The semi-circular plancha is made of cast iron and uses one of the halves of the grill and can be used together with one of the stainless steel grates or a cast iron grate.

With ridges on one side and smooth on the other for the classic lines on a steak or on the flat for an even crust. I prefer to sear on a flat surface so the gnarly meaty crust os across all of a steak... thats where all the delicious the flavour from the maillard reaction (meaty caramelisation!) is for me.

Great for Smash burgers/ frying up an egg or 2.
